Talking the Heart of Toronto

Since The Heart of Toronto was released two months ago, I’ve had the chance to talk about my research with some of Canada’s longest-running and hardest-working history podcasts.

My interview with Patrice Dutil for the Champlain Society’s Witness to Yesterday was released this morning. I also had a chat with Sean Graham on History Slam!, and you can listen to that episode here.

It was also a big thrill, considering how much of the Toronto Star I have read for my research (and as a long-time Torontonian) to see a full page excerpt of the book appear in print in the city’s paper of record. You can read that excerpt online here (paywall).

The Heart of Toronto is currently 30% at UBC Press’s online store with the code ANYWHERE30.
