2023 Heritage Toronto Book Award

I’m honoured that Heritage Toronto selected my book, The Heart of Toronto, for the 2023 Toronto Book Award! This prize is particularly gratifying since it comes from a prize jury, and a community, that knows Toronto and its history very well. Since I’m in Vancouver on a research trip for my next project, my sister Anna and brother Jacob kindly agreed to attend, accept the award, and schmooze on my behalf.
